PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing the aged deterioration of the cut paper sheets contained on the bottom side of a paper cassette from occurring. SOLUTION: This tray-like paper feed cassette 1 contains a plurality of cut paper sheets P and has, at the bottom part 3a, a paper stage 5 for raising the ends of the cut paper sheets P in the delivery direction.
