PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making wrench body capable of achieving an unprecedented action and effect. SOLUTION: This wrench body has an L shape formed by bending a bar-like body 1 having a polygonal cross section and forming a peripheral face by providing a plurality of flat faces 6 through a square fringe 7 continuously through a bent part 2. At least either of the bar-like part 3 on one side and the bar-like part 4 on the other side in the bent part 2 has at least one face crossing the direction R of turning operation orthogonally when the bar-like part 4 on the other side is fitted into a square hole 5a of a bolt 5 with square hole 5a to perform turning operation as the flat face 6.
