PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that external used water flows backward from a water supply port into a water storage tank and harmful organic substances get mixed and breed to greatly damage user's health and thus to provide a water purifier which is suitable as the water purifier for home use and is excellent in convenience, by which drinking water of high purity and high quality can be efficiently obtained and which has structure or a function enabling to attain size reduction. SOLUTION: At least an activated carbon filter, a reverse osmosis membrane filter and an ion exchange resin filter are respectively installed in each of three cylinders made of a raw material which is not eluted in water and which has sufficient rust prevention performance and the water storage tank for storing purified water obtained by treatment of making water pass through the filter is installed behind these three cylinders. The water purifier has structure capable of feeding purified water by a predetermined suction pump, a check valve is provided at the water supply port and further the water purifier has the water storage tank with a recessed part, a water supply pipe with a water discharge function and an organic substance detecting function or the like.
