PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unreasonable force from being applied to a buttonhole by changing the shape of the neck part of a tack button. SOLUTION: The tack button includes a surface member (2), the neck part (3) positioned between the surface member (2) and a cloth (6), and a fixing member (4) driven from the back side to the neck part (3) holding the cloth (6) there between. The transverse section of the neck part (3) is not circular and is elliptic, rectangular or linear for instance. It is especially preferable when it is elliptic and it is preferable that the longest part of the diameter of an ellipse is 1.3 to 10.0 times the shortest part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
