PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt wheel for a wet type belt excellent in meshing efficiency in terms of motion dynamics. SOLUTION: As illustrated in figure 1, the toothed belt wheel for the wet type belt includes a wheel main body 2 having a meshing structure 5 including teeth 6 for the toothed belt in an end surface 4 wherein a tooth groove 7 including a tooth groove bottom part 12 is defined between two mutually adjacent teeth and/or at least one flange 3 arranged axially to a side of the wheel 2 and radially extending out over the meshing structure 5. A cut groove 9 for discharging lubricant is formed in an area of the tooth groove bottom part and/or in an inner surface 8 of a flange confronting the meshing structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
