Self-holding rolling bearing arrangement comprises a cage (80) configured so that it can elastically and/or plastically deform to insert rolling bodies (60) radially into pockets (82). The cage is held with the rolling bodies in an outer bearing race. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a self-holding rolling bearing arrangement. Preferred Features: The cage has a bridge between the pockets to extend partly below the rolling bodies.
