A display device is provided to block the light incident on the TFT area by equipping metal light protection on the upper place of the TFT, thereby improving the display quality. A first substrate(100) is divided into a display area and a non-display area. The first TFT is connected to the gate line and data line of the display space. A drive circuit part is formed on the non-display area with a plurality of second thin film transistors(T2). A microcapsule(180) is formed on the upper place of the first substrate including the charged pigment particle. A first optical shield layer(165) is formed to be overlapped with the channel of the second thin film transistor between the second thin film transistor and microcapsule.
