PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally-favorable resin composition containing no halogen compound, excellent in electric properties, heat resistance, mechanical properties, having good releasability when injection molding, having scarce problem of emitting smoke, adhesion of a flame retardant agent to a mold and the like, and having excellent appearance, impact resistance and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: A polyphenylene ether flame retardant resin composition is constituted by adding a random hydrogenated copolymer (c) having a specific hydrogenated random copolymer block and a polyolefin resin by a specific ratio to a flame retardant resin composed of a polyphenylene ether resin and a condensed phosphoric acid ester.
