PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a dynamo-electric machine for eliminating an enlargement of the entire rotor diameter, having an advantage of a strength, and increasing the quantity of magnetic fluxes. SOLUTION: In the dynamo-electric machine provided with a plurality of permanent magnets 13 circumferentially disposed within a rotor 1, the permanent magnets 13 are circularly formed, and magnetized in the radial direction of a circular arc. Recesses on the inside diameter side are filled with a magnetic material 4. The permanent magnets 13 are disposed so as to cause a central axial line of the circular arc to be parallel to a rotating shaft of the rotor 1 and cause the outside diameter side of the circular arc to be oriented toward the outside diameter direction of the rotor 1.
