PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor for easily manufacturing a segment and a brush and extending life of the DC motor without reducing the width of the segment even if the DC motor is compact and lightweight having a concentrated winding. SOLUTION: In the DC motor in which the number of magnetic poles, slots and segments is set at 6:10:15 by ratio, a pair of brushes 21, 21 coming into slide contact with the segments 15 are disposed so as to be point-symmetric to each other around a rotary shaft, and when the respective teeth 12 are allocated in the order of U phase, V phase, W phase, X phase and Y phase, winding start ends 70 and winding ends 71 of windings 14 wound in the reverse direction against Y phase, X phase, W phase, V phase and U phase of the teeth 12 are connected in this order between the adjacent segments 15.
