PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system wherein a monitoring job can be performed efficiently by simplifying the work for displaying video data shot by a plurality of monitoring cameras on a display monitor. SOLUTION: At a monitoring terminal 2, an arrangement pattern holding section 25 holds an arrangement pattern in divided areas obtained by dividing a monitoring video display area, and a monitoring camera management section 27 manages attribute information of monitoring cameras, such as camera IDs, specific to the monitoring cameras. A screen creating section 211 determines video data shot by the monitoring cameras to be displayed in the divided areas, by making the divided areas and the camera IDs correspond to one another and displays the video data shot by the plurality of monitoring cameras on a display section 22. Furthermore, in response to operator's operation, an input section 23 increases/decreases the values of the camera IDs allocated to the divided areas, one by one or just by the number of divided areas, thereby switching the video data shot by the monitoring cameras to be displayed on the display section 22.
