PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electronic apparatus to output a translated sentence according to a situation where it is used. SOLUTION: In a portable translator 1, each of a plurality of conversation examples is associated with the kind of a store, the name of the store, the address of the store identified from position information on the portable translator 1 when the conversation example was output from the portable translator 1, and the date and time when the conversation example was output, and is stored in a conversation history DB 108. Then, in the portable translator 1, a conversation sentence associated with the date and time corresponding to the current date and time is retrieved from the conversation history DB 108 and is output. In addition, if an area with which the conversation example is associated in the conversation history DB 108 is different from an area corresponding to the current position in terms of the climate thereof and/or lifestyle habits, either of information related to the current data and time or the date and time associated with the conversation example is appropriately changed.
