PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device securing a safety in case of unexpected problems while surely insulating a toilet seat from a heating wire. SOLUTION: This toilet seat device includes a toilet seat having a seating surface and including a metal material, the heating wire 463a provided in the back side of the seating surface of the toilet seat, an enamel layer 463b provided covering the outer circumference part of the heating wire 463a, and an insulating layer provided between the toilet seat and the enamel layer 463b, wherein a conductive tape 463c is helically wound around the outer circumference of the enamel layer 463b and the heating wire 463a and the conductive tape 463c are connected to a dielectric breakdown detection circuit. When the enamel layer 463b is broken or the like, a leakage current flows from the heating wire 463a to the conductive tape 463c, and the dielectric breakdown detection circuit detects it to, for example, shut off a power supply.
