<p>A system and method for integrating 3D feature geometry into 3D topology in a database including adding a 3D feature geometry into a database table, passing the 3D feature geometry to a 3D topology engine and a cache, performing spatial refinement to determine a number of topology primitives in an existing 3D geometry in the database near to the topology primitives of the 3D feature geometry, obtaining a number of relevant nearby spatial topology primitives using a spatial search, performing an interaction refinement, determining a precise set of the number of relevant nearby topology primitives in the geometries having spatial interactions, determining a common section of each topology primitive in the number of relevant nearby topology primitives, validating that the three-dimensional feature geometry fits into the 3D topology table using a plurality of rules, and saving the validated 3D feature geometry in the database</p> |
