<p>A mouldings fabrication method for boots, esp. ski boots, of elastomer and/or plastomer with/without cut fibres where components, e.g. hooks for closing the boot, are attached to the boot, consists of embedding the base of the attached component in the body of the boot (e.g. the upper) during moulding leaving the head projecting from the moulding; to do this, the head is held in a recess in the mould wall, while bosses forming part either of the base of the component or of the mould constitute spacers for positioning and holding the component.</p> |
