PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the optimal partial adaptation white point for obtaining a satisfactory color processing result. SOLUTION: A white data input part 16 inputs the white point data of a device white point. An adaptation white point calculating part 19 calculates a projection white point, by projecting the white point shown by the white point data on a predetermined curve, calculates a point positioned on the curve between the projection white point and the predetermined white point on the curve, as a partial adaptation white point, and corrects the partial adaptation white point, based on the projection quantity of the projection.
