PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a uniformly hygienically excellent nonwoven fabric and sanitary goods using one or more kinds of tea, extracted solution of used tea leaves, waste fluid of used tea leaf residue, and used tea leaves by impregnating a water-absorbing thin paper with one or more kinds of an extracted solution of used tea leaves and/or waste fluid of used tea leaf residue in a production of tea and drying the thin paper. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric contains≥0.1 g of dried substance of tea per square meter. In this method for producing the nonwoven fabric, the concentrated solution of tea is applied to a nonwoven fabric 12 by using a sprayer 18 and the nonwoven fabric coated with the concentrated solution of tea is dried by using a drying cylinder 16. The nonwoven fabric can be used as an absorption material having excellent uniform hygiene. The nonwoven fabric can be used as a surface material of sanitary goods by utilizing excellent hygienic properties. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
