PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting machine having yarn feeding function of elastic yarn, capable of preventing entanglement of the elastic yarn to a yarn feeding device and the like, due to slack of the elastic yarn, even when the elastic yarn is quickly returned. SOLUTION: A yarn tension adding device 8 is set on a feed path of a rubber yarn 5 advancing from the lower side to the upper side between a rubber yarn cone 6 and a pulley 7b of a yarn break detection switch 7. An air flow forming device 9 is set on the feed path of the rubber yarn 5, between the rubber yarn cone 6 and the yarn tension adding device 8. In the air flow forming device 9, a path 9a in which the rubber yarn 5 passes through vertically is provided. An air flow flowing from the upper side to the lower side is formed on the rubber yarn 5 passing through the path 9a, by ejecting air from a nozzle 9b set at the upper part of the air flow forming device 9. By forming the air flow, even when the rubber yarn 5 is returned from the yarn tension adding device 8 at a high speed, the rubber yarn 5 is surely guided downward to prevent entanglement.
