PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular knit fabric having an intarsia pattern extending in a direction inclined to the axial direction of the tubular knit fabric, and a method for knitting the tubular knit fabric capable of reducing the number of yarn feeders using in knitting. SOLUTION: The knitting method is used for forming an intarsia pattern extending in a direction inclined to the axial direction of a tubular knit fabric by using a flat knitting frame. A first knitting yarn is supplied from a first feeder (feeder 7) positioning at the front or rear part to a first knit fabric part (intarsia part 2) to form an intarsia pattern, a second knitting yarn is supplied from a second feeder (feeder 6) positioning at the other side of the front or rear part to a second knit fabric part (grand part 1), and the knitting work is performed by rotating the tubular knit fabric 10 while preventing the crossing of the first knitting yarn and the second knitting yarn.
