PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating unit efficiently restricted in the rise of the temperature. SOLUTION: The floating unit 10 comprises a porous plate 76 formed with a conveying surface F on the upper surface side and a chamber 36 directly fitted to the back surface side of the porous plate 76. In the chamber 36, a suction chamber 56 in a central part in the cross direction of the chamber and injection chambers 58 and 60 on both sides in the cross direction of the chamber are partitioned by partition wall parts 54L and 54R. The partition wall parts 54L and 54R are formed with a flow path 53 wherein a cooling medium such as water flows. The floating unit also comprises an ejector for supplying pressurized air to the injection chambers 58 and 60 and for sucking the suction chamber 56. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
