PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a casting bead in high-speed casting of 50 m/sec or above. SOLUTION: A dope 12 containing a polymer and a solvent is prepared and discharged to the surface of a casting drum 27 running (rotating) as a cast bead 12a from a casting die 25 to form a cast film 13. First and second partition plates 53 and 54 are provided on the upstream and downstream sides in the rotary direction of the casting drum 27 with respect to the casting die 25 and a third partition plate 55 is provided on the upstream side of a release roller 29. Dry air is supplied to the drying chamber 58 demarcated by the second partition plate 54 and a third partition plate 55 from a dry air circulating device 69. Side labyrinth seal parts 75 are provided at the positions approaching both side end surfaces of the casting drum 27. The penetration of dry air into a casting chamber 57 is suppressed even in the case where the amount of dry air is increased in order to perform high-speed casting by the respective labyrinth seal parts 60, 62 and 64 of the first-third partition plates 53-55 and the side labyrinth seal part 75.
