摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element manufacturing method that enables to reduce harmful minute unevenness formed on the surface of a photocuring resin even by short-time light irradiation. SOLUTION: A lens 1 is formed with a relief pattern on its one face. An uncured photocuring resin 3 is pressed after sandwiching it between a glass mold 2 and the face of the lens formed with the relief pattern. The photocuring resin 3 is cured by irradiating the photocuring resin 3 with irradiation light 5 from a light source device 4 through the glass mold 2. Then, the photocuring resin 3 is stripped from the glass mold 2 so as to complete an optical element in which the lens 1 is bonded to the cured photocuring resin 3 and the relief pattern is formed at the boundary between both of them. There is no relief pattern between the glass mold 2 and the photocuring resin 3. Therefore, unevenness in light intensity does not occur in the photocuring resin 3. Accordingly, the photocuring resin 3 is uniformly cured. Consequently, when the photocuring resin 3 is stripped from the glass mold 2, minute unevenness hardly occurs on the stripped plane.
