PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable winning device for a game machine capable of guiding game balls flowing down on a playfield to a different playfield without adjusting the shooting strength on the way of the play by having a rotary body having a guiding face which can be rotated and switched; and to provide a game machine using the same. SOLUTION: The rotary body 20 can be displaced between a first guiding position for guiding game balls to flow down on a playfield 2c with a guiding face 21 inclined to one side in the left/right direction to a vertical face including the rotation axis O and a second guiding position for guiding game balls on the playfield 2c to a winning area 5c with the guiding face 21 inclined to the other side in the left/right direction. When the rotary body 20 is switched to the first guiding position and stopped by an electric motor 30, game balls B flowing down on the playfield 2c are guided to flow down on the playfield 2c along the guiding face 21. Furthermore, if the rotary body 20 is switched to the second guiding position and stopped by the electric motor 30, the game balls B flowing down on the playfield 2c are guided to the winning area 5c by the guiding face 21.
