A laser pointer operating apparatus for an embroidery machine and a method thereof are provided to automatically power on if a user selects initial operation point, and automatically power off after a lapse of a predetermined time. . A laser pointer portion(160) indicates the location which the outer ring and the needle zone which the head unit(150) produces of the embroidery design pattern sew in the embroidery frame part. A controller(110) processes an embroidery design pattern information and outputs the information to the embroidery frame, and controls and monitors power state by the predetermined time lapse or a needle work command. A memory unit(120) stores the embroidery design pattern information and the works of the embroidery device by the controller's control. A virtual processing unit(130) reads the design pattern information, and outputs the design pattern information after reducing the design pattern by the preset ratio. A timer part(140) counts the work time of the embroidery device. |
