<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording method and a video recording device by which a time and labor for backup operation by a photographer is eliminated by performing automatic division, and at the same time, one scene is automatically divided within a capacity of a backup destination without being divided in the middle, and thus backup can be performed conforming to the image of a user. <P>SOLUTION: When the recording end operation of video data are performed, previously specified division size information is compared with a present recording capacity, and when the present recording capacity exceeds a division size, stream data are divided into two parts at the ending position of the video data recorded previously, and management information is prepared for each stream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
