PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording method which enables efficient determination of an adequate parameter in a short period of time upon recording information to optical disks with different information recording conditions and information recording characteristics.

SOLUTION: The optical information recording method for recording information to an optical disk 1 with two or more information layers includes an information layer specifying step of specifying an information layer to which information is recorded in the optical disk 1, an identifying step of identifying the information recording conditions or information recording characteristics for the information layer specified in the information layer specifying step, and a recording pulse correcting step of making correction accuracy of a recording pulse position for recording the information different with respect to the information layer specified in the information layer specifying step according to the information recording conditions or information recording characteristics identified in the identifying step.
