<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and industrially very useful polymerizable compound, a polymer containing copolymerization units derived from the polymerizable compound and used in a pigment dispersing agent improving dispersibility and stability of a fine pigment, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable compound is expressed by general formula (1).
