PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, etc. that accurately and quickly acquires the information of three-dimensional movements of the same region in a moving diagnostic object. SOLUTION: The three sections of Basal, Mid and Apical corresponding to the clinically useful ASE division system are specified at the initial time phase, and the positions of these three sections are traced by three-dimensional speckle tracking at least concerning a cardiac cycle in the remaining time phase. Three C-mode projection images are reconstructed for these traced positions. Further, the parameters of arbitrary wall motions at the traced positions are calculated and displayed by being placed on top of the C-mode projection images or projected on polar-maps. As for the C-mode projection image method, either one method can be selected from the methods of: detecting and projecting only the transfer components perpendicular to the sections determined at the initial time phase; detecting and projecting average transfer components at respective walls; and tracing and projecting respective cardiac muscle positions.
