PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing deterioration in the display quality of a liquid crystal panel which may be caused by external force generated by the connection to an external casing such as a customer's casing. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 1 provided with at least a front frame 2, a liquid crystal panel 3 and a backlight unit 4 provided with at least a rear frame 6 which are arranged in this order; a rear fixing frame 5 fixed on the front frame 2 is arranged on the rear of the liquid crystal display device 1 and installation parts 14, 15 for installing the liquid crystal display device 1 to an external casing such as the customer's casing are formed on the rear fixing frame 5. Consequently, external force which may be generated due to the connection to the external casing is not easily transmitted to the liquid crystal panel 3 or the backlight unit 4, the deformation of the liquid crystal panel 3 or a reflection sheet 11 can be suppressed and deterioration in the display quality can be suppressed.
