PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor that prevents warpage of each steel plate constituting the teeth, and to provide an electric power steering device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: In the motor 10, each steel plate 32 constituting the teeth 23 is laminated in a state that its width direction is arranged almost in parallel with a direction of a line L1 connecting between both sides of each magnetic pole 13N, 13S of a rotor with the shortest distance. That is, the width direction of each steel plate 32 constituting the teeth is inclined so as to be almost in parallel to a direction of a magnetic force F acting between each magnetic pole 13N, 13S of the rotor 11 and each steel plate 32 constituting the teeth. Therefore, it is possible to further reduce or eliminate a force, applied in a thickness direction of each steel plate 32 constituting the teeth, than the conventional one.
