PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an antenna apparatus which is approximately non-directional and holds high receiving sensitivity, almost without increasing antenna capacity. SOLUTION: A component 1 is a first loop antenna disposed around a ground conductor 12 forming a ground plate, a component 2 is a second loop antenna disposed at a position of a prescribed height from the ground conductor 12 while approximately coaxially facing the first loop antenna 1, and a component 3 is a dielectric substrate on which the ground conductor 12 is formed. The first loop antenna 1 and the second loop antenna 2 are grounded via a first matching circuit 4, a second matching circuit 5, a third matching circuit 6 and a fourth matching circuit 7 connected to their respective terminal portions. A component 8 is a switching means connected to the first matching circuit 4 connected to the first loop antenna 1 and the third matching circuit 6 connected to the second loop antenna 2, and a component 9 is a receiver connected to the switching means 8.
