PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of communication services that a mobile station can receive from a base station. SOLUTION: The portable terminal includes a notification unit, a communication unit which receives information (provided service information) showing services that the base station can provide from the base station, and a control unit which acquires the provided service information from the communication unit once the communication unit receives the provided service information and makes the notification unit give notice.
