PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create and record a recording file in which moving image data, position/direction information, and map image data are made to correspond to one another during moving image photography. SOLUTION: An imaging section 1 picks up a subject image and outputs an image signal, a moving image input interface 2 outputs moving image data, and a moving image compression section 6 compresses and encodes the moving image data. A position/direction information acquisition section 16 acquires position/direction information during photography, a map image acquisition section 18 transmits the position/direction information to a map data providing server 101 to acquire map image data corresponding to the position/direction information, and creates a map moving image file stored with the map image data, and a microcomputer 13 creates a moving image file stored with the moving image data subjected to compression and encoding, and records the moving image file together with the map moving image file in recording media 19 by a drive 11.
