PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost of an image display device and to enable a user to accurately face the front of a display panel of the image display device. SOLUTION: An image display device 1 includes an enclosure 3 having a display panel 2 disposed on a front surface thereof and a stand 5 rotatably supporting the enclosure 3 in a horizontal plane. Position confirmation parts 10a and 10b are provided near both side parts of the enclosure 3. The position confirmation parts 10a and 10b comprises four pairs of light emitting parts 11a to 14b which are arranged so as to emit light beams in prescribed directions inclined at prescribed angles to a center part of the display panel 2 symmetrically with respect to the center part of the display panel. The user confirms light beams emitted from the position confirmation pats 10a and 10b while turning the enclosure 3, whereby the display panel 2 can be positioned in front of the user.
