PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair shampoo composition which can prevent that an ingredient being incorporated therein for imparting good touch is washed away. SOLUTION: This hair shampoo composition comprises following ingredients (A) to (C). (A) An alkylsaccharide-based surfactant represented by general formula (I): R<SB>1</SB>-O-(R<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>m</SB>-(G)<SB>n</SB>(I) [wherein, R<SB>1</SB>is an 8-18C straight chain or branched chain alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an alkylphenyl group; R<SB>2</SB>is a 2-4C alkylene group; G is a 5-6C reducing sugar; (m) is the number of 0 to 10; (n) is the number of 1 to 10].
