PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator security recording device capable of easily specifying a target from monitoring images by a monitoring camera of an elevator, and easily searching and extracting another image relating to the specified target from the monitoring images. SOLUTION: The elevator security recording device comprises a memory means storing image information from the monitoring camera 4 of the elevator, time information from a timepiece device 9, and elevator state information from an elevator control device 1 while relating the information with each other; an image characteristic information designating means 26 designating a characteristic part of the image as image characteristic information from the image information stored in the memory means; a relating information adding means 28 adding the relevance of the image information and the image characteristic information to each image information stored in the memory means as relating information; and a searching means 20 searching information satisfying a condition from the image information stored in the memory means, by using any one or any combination of the time information, the elevator state information, and the relating information as a searching parameter.
