PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only mount a boat on a vehicle single-handedly but also easily and securely mount a boat etc. on the vehicle even by a relatively weak man or woman. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle device for a boat and the like mounted on a roof carrier 1 of an automobile C is provided with a square frame body 2; an approximately U-shaped handle 14 mounted to one side of the square frame body 2; a plurality of boat pedestals 10A, 10B provided on the upper face of the square frame body 2; roller shafts 9 fitted into grooves 3a of opposing main frame members 3 of the square frame body 2 and having rotatable rollers 8 at both ends; stop members 16 with stoppers which are mounted on the upper face of the roof carrier 1 and to which an end frame member 5 of the square frame body 2 is fitted to; bar-shaped members 17 for boat balance fitted between the end frame member 5 and the roller shafts 9 in the grooves 3a of the main frame members 3; and projecting parts 18 for hooking a gunwale provided on the pedestals 10A on one side.
