SOLUTION: With respect to the abutting member 1 having at least the joint walls 11 to the outer plate 3 and raised walls 12 to a rear side from the joint walls 11 and abutting on a side part of the other abutting member, to deform a portion of the joint wall 11 in the abutment end part overlapped with a joint wall of the other abutting member so that the portion is retracted by the thickness of the joint wall, a hole A is provided beforehand in a bend part 13 of the joint wall 11 and the raised wall 12 or in a position corresponding to the bend part 13, in a range corresponding to a step part 16 region generated by the deformation, and processing for the deformation is performed.
