PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die assembly which has a high durability, can be manufactured regardless of a flat surface or a curved surface, and is equipped with nests which can be manufactured even when the area is a large one being B size or larger. SOLUTION: This die assembly 10 is equipped with (A) a die equipped with a first die section 11, a second die section 12, a molten resin injecting section 14, and a cavity 13, (B) the nests 20A and 20B, (C) metal films 40A and 40B which are arranged on the surfaces of the nests and have a thickness being 0.03 to 0.5 mm. The nests 20A and 20B are constituted of (a) blocks 31A and 31B made of a metal, (b) a metal undercoating layer having a thickness being 0.03 to 1 mm, and (c) a sprayed film consisting of a ceramic which is formed on the metal undercoating layer. The nests 20A and 20B have a porosity which varies in the thickness direction. The porosity has a lower value as becoming closer to the surface of the sprayed film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
