PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain printing of high accuracy, coping with the distortion, deformation, contraction, etc. of a printing object, by adjusting a clearance between the printing object and a screen mask according to the amount of slippage between them. SOLUTION: This printing equipment has a constitution in which a printing plate having the screen mask stretched is disposed opposite to a printing table for carrying the printing object, with a prescribed clearance between them. The equipment is provided with a position recognizing part, an arithmetic part and a clearance adjusting part, and a printing position of the printing object is recognized by the position recognizing part, while, by the arithmetic part, the amount of slippage between the printing position of the printing object and the printing position of the printing plate is recognized and the amount of clearance between the printing object and the printing plate is calculated according to the amount of the slippage. The clearance between the printing object and the printing plate is adjusted in conformity with the amount of the clearance by the clearance adjusting part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
