PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running toy and a radio-controlled running toy which have a transmission which enables the experience of the same feeling of operation as a real thing. SOLUTION: A shift lever 4 is provided with a gear box 10, which covers the rear wheel shaft 8 and motor section of the chassis rear 6, and a crank box 12 is arranged on its upper part. The second slider section 14 is stationed in the more upper step of this crank box 12, furthermore the first slider section 16 is stationed on it, and a shift shaft 18, which is the axle section of the shift lever 4, is established on this first slider section 16.
