<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe member connection device for more stabilizing a male side pipe relative to a female side pipe during connecting pipes to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe member connection device comprises a male side pipe member 10 having a male side large diameter cylinder portion 13 formed on the counter axial front end side with its outer diameter larger than that of a male side cylinder portion 11, a female side pipe member 1 having a female side large diameter cylindrical portion 4 formed near the axial front end with its inner diameter larger than that of a female side cylinder portion 3, and a female side engaging cylindrical portion 5 formed near the axial front end with its inner diameter further larger than that of the female side large diameter cylindrical portion 4, and a joint member 20 having a joint side engaging portion 28 for engaging with the female side pipe member 1 when connecting both pipe members 1, 10 to each other. When the joint side engaging portion 28 engages with the female side pipe member 1 to connect both pipe members 1, 10 to each other, the female side pipe member 1 restricts the radial movement of the male side pipe member 10 integrated with the joint member 20, using the female side cylinder portion 3, the female side large diameter cylindrical portion 4 and the female side engaging cylindrical portion 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
