<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container designed so that a cap having a packing for prevention of water leakage and screwed on a container body can be smoothly rotated relative to the container body and thereby detached. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid storage container 11 includes the container body 13 having a discharging opening 12 at the top, and the cap 14 threadedly engaged with the container body 13 so as to close the discharging opening 12. The cap 14 has the packing 34 for preventing water leakage. An interposing member 37 is disposed between the cap 14 and the packing 34 so as to be turned relative to the cap 14.
