<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispenser which is movable from its retracted position to its extended position in the state that moving space is reduced in a domestic appliance such as a coffee maker, for example. <P>SOLUTION: A domestic appliance (10) is provided which has a casing (12) and a dispenser (100;200). The dispenser has a dispensing member (102;204) for dispensing a fluid. The dispensing member is movable between a first position in which at least a part of the dispensing member is located within the casing and a second position in which the dispensing member projects from the casing. The dispensing member is slideable between the first and second positions along a linear path. This constitution, reduces the space necessary in the appliance to allow the dispenser to move.
