<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary mask having a superior fitting property to a face and a pleasant texture without giving a wetted feeling to the face even if absorbing much moisture, allowing easy breathing by its excellent air permeability and degrading and decontaminating harmful matter and malodor-emitting materials intruding in the mask while retaining in the mask. <P>SOLUTION: A mask body is formed by knitting yarn consisting of fibers, folding the knitted fabric a plurality of times to form it into a prescribed shape, and sewing a prescribed part; and ear loops are attached to the both sides of the mask body. The fiber used is polylactic acid fiber. Fine particles of photocatalyst apatite are uniformly stuck to the surface and inside of the knitted fabric by a photocatalyst processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
