<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of gloves having overlapped inter-finger parts, and enabling forming each inter-finger part of the gloves with three trunks by crotch layering and avoiding shortening the peripheral length of an inlet of a specific finger bag, and to provide a method for knitting the gloves. <P>SOLUTION: This pair of gloves 30 is knitted by a glove-knitting machine which has a suppression thread rod set with a pair of suppression thread grooves facing each other. The method for knitting the gloves includes starting knitting from a finger bag 4 for the index finger, and performing crotch layering while suppressing a knitting yarn continuing into knit stitches of the index finger bag 4 by the one suppression thread groove of the suppression thread rod. In the crotch layering, the knit stitches of the index finger bag 4 decrease. Similarly, the method includes overlapping the inter-finger on finger parts 9b and 9a while suppressing by the other suppression thread groove, and when knitting a thumb finger bag 5 after knitting four trunks 7, using the other suppression thread groove of the suppression rod to suppress the knit stitches of the end parts of the four trunks 7. Even when the knit stitches of the four trunks 7 decrease, the trunks are separated in a wale direction from the inlet of the index finger bag 4, so the peripheral length of the inlet of the finger bag 4 is made free from being influenced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
