<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic friction adjusting material having excellent fade restriction and high temperature friction, with a stable friction coefficient to a low temperature range so as to restrain the brake noise, providing high strength, high temperature conductivity and a high attenuation ratio to a friction material, and a friction material containing the organic friction adjusting material, having excellent performance. <P>SOLUTION: The organic friction adjusting material to be used for a friction material is made of composite material particles with graphite particles dispersed as a thin layer in an aramid resin. The friction material contains an organic friction adjusting material made of composite material particles with graphite particles dispersed as a thin layer in an aramid resin. It is preferable that the aramid resin is a polyparaphenylene terephthalamide and that the compounding ratio of the graphite particles to the aramid resin is 5-50 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
