PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving a lateral wind direction deflecting capacity by being constituted so that a surface area becomes large when a lateral wind direction deflecting plate rotates. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is formed by supporting a plurality of lateral wind direction deflecting plates 6 with a driving device linked with a blowout port 2 by arranging an air blowing fan 4 in an air passage for connecting a suction port 1 and the blowout port 2, and constituted so that the lateral wind direction deflecting plates 6 are composed of a main wind direction deflecting part 8 having a rotatably supported support part 7 and an auxiliary wind direction deflecting part 9 held by the main wind direction deflecting part 8, and the auxiliary wind direction deflecting part 9 is extended from the main wind direction deflecting part 8 in rotation.
