PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method capable of easily hanging and connecting a cardboard duct, and capable of disposing the cardboard duct in a stable state by forming a blowout port. SOLUTION: In this construction method for connecting the cardboard duct 1 in a state of being hung on a ceiling of a building, a connection body 2 composed of a heat insulating holder 3 and a cover 4 is used, the holder 3 free from the cover 4 is hung on the ceiling, an end portion of the cardboard duct 1 is loaded on the holder 3, and the cover 4 is put on the holder 3 and fixed. The holder 3 is firmly hung so that it does not oscillate, thus the work can be easily performed and the cardboard duct 1 can be disposed in a stable state. Further as the blowout port 6 is formed on the holder 3, creep deformation of the cardboard duct 1 caused by load of the blowout port 6 can be prevented, the construction performance and easiness in managing components can be improved, and costs can be reduced.
