PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas hydrate wash-column that washes unreacted seawater accompanying hydrate with a required minimum of washing water and smoothly draining the seawater without obstructing washing. SOLUTION: The gas hydrate wash-column 4 comprises a hydrate slurry introduction part 22, a draining part 23 for dehydrating unreacted seawater in a hydrate slurry and a washing and scraping part 24 for diluting unreacted seawater attached to hydrate and scraping the hydrate after washing to the outside of the system. The washing and scraping part 24 is equipped with a rotary or wiper type gas hydrate scraping apparatus and a washing water spray nozzle. When the void percentage of a hydrate in a saturation area E isε, the cross-sectional area of the wash-column is A, the rise rate of a hydrate sedimentary layer is U and the saturation degree of a hydrate in an unsaturation area F is S, the water amount Q of washing water sprayed from a washing water spray nozzle satisfies formula (1): Q=1.1ε×A×U×S.
